About Profile Painting Profile Paint was founded in 1992 by Robert Rodriguez. At the time Robert was working for another painting company. Robert felt that it was time to start his own painting service, but not just any painting service. There were enough contractors already out there. Robert wanted his company to stand apart from the rest. He took the time to research the craft, to school himself and to develop his own techniques for Oil Base Paints / Latex / Sheet Rock / Ceiling Repairs / Stain / Textures and Faux Finishes. Robert feels that some of today's painters have lost that loving feeling for painting. It's all spray work - the quick and easy buck. The houses now days are being neglected, with improper coating layers, improper dry times, who suffers for all this? The home owner. He's paying for work that's not being done. Robert also believes in educating the home owner with types of paint, wall color consultation, steps on completing the work, and time frame estimation.
